The New Force Leader, to ensure that Ghanaians do not go hungry during unforeseen events promised to establish a seedling reserve as one of the primary reserves for the country if elected as president on Dec 7, 2024.
“Our government will be the leanest and most efficient: one President and 12 ministers.”
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in their 2024 Manifesto sees the 24-Hour Economy initiative as a game-changer in Ghana’s development, the New Force Movement (NFM), however, believes otherwise.
According to the Movement’s Leader, Nana Kwame Bediako, the NDC’s 24-hour economy is not attainable given the country’s import-driven economy.
At the virtual launch of his 2024 Presidential Manifesto on Sept 1, 2024, he stated that the initiative would only be effective in an industrialized economy
“Only machines can work 24 hours and create 8 shifts. Who sells gari for 24 hours? The women in Kejetia, Makola, and Kantamanto, cannot work for 24 hours a day,” the NFM Leader said.
Nana Bediako plans to transform Ghana’s sixteen regions into industrial hubs to add value to various agricultural and mineral extractions and ultimately make Ghana the powerhouse of Africa – and create 800,000 jobs annually.
Under the New Force’s “12 Pillars for Economic Freedom” manifesto, he promised the leanest and most effective government in Africa, saying, “Our government will be the leanest and most efficient. One President and 12 ministers to be responsible for the 12 pillars.”
The New Force Leader, to ensure that Ghanaians do not go hungry during unforeseen events promised to establish a seedling reserve as one of the primary reserves for the country if elected as president on Dec 7, 2024.
He emphasized that this initiative will not only make Ghana a food hub to feed other countries worldwide but also evoke the Biblical story of Joseph in Egypt.
“Today is a momentous day, one we’ve all been waiting for. At 7:30 pm, I will unveil the policies that will drive us forward into a new era of growth, opportunity, and prosperity. I invite each of you to join me live as we embark on this journey together. Your support, your voice, and your energy are what will make this vision a reality. Let’s make history”, Nana Bediako tweeted on the morning of the virtual manifesto launch.
