In a heartwarming gesture, AiDenteh Foundation, led by President and founder Aicha Amoako Denteh, made a significant donation of GHC 5,000 to Berry Ladies FC. The contribution aims to boost the morale and confidence of the team as they prepare for the upcoming 2024/2025 season, both mentally and physically. The presentation took place at the club’s residing room in Prampram and was witnessed by the CEO, management, and technical team of Berry Ladies FC.
Aicha Amoako Denteh, who also serves as the Team and Welfare Manager of Berry Ladies FC and the Black Princesses of Ghana, expressed her deep gratitude to the club’s owner, Mrs. Gifty Oware-Mensah, for the pivotal role she played in shaping her career. “Berry Ladies is more than just a football club to me,” Aicha shared. “It’s the foundation that gave me the opportunity to grow into the person I am today. Mrs. Oware-Mensah has been a mentor, and her support helped me establish myself. This donation is my way of giving back to the club that made me, and I believe it will play a part in preparing the team for a successful season ahead.”
Aicha also voiced her confidence in the club’s future. “I strongly believe in the talent and potential of these players. With the right mindset and preparation, they are capable of great things in the 2024/2025 season. This donation is just the beginning of our efforts to ensure they are ready, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.”
The Ceremony
The donation was received on behalf of the players by team captain Regina Donkor, who thanked AiDenteh Foundation for their generous support. “We are truly grateful for this kind gesture,” she remarked. “It means a lot to the players, and it has come at the right time to help us stay focused and motivated as we prepare for the new season.”
Accompanying Aicha at the presentation was Samuel Kwame Boadu, the founder of SamBoad Business Group Ltd, who also serves as the Digital Marketing Head for both AiDenteh Foundation and Berry Ladies FC. Together, they handed over the donation to the captain, with smiles all around as the team gathered to express their appreciation.
